• Sport: Volleyball.

• Accomplishment: Ralph supplied plenty of power on Sept. 30, pounding out a match-high 20 kills and leading the Falcons past Tahoma in five games — 25-18, 16-25, 21-25, 25-22 and 15-13.

• Favorite class: Physics.

• Favorite movie: Pride and Prejudice.

• Most recent book read/author: “Breaking Dawn” by Stephanie Meyer.

• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: If I could invite anyone to dinner, I would invite Thomas S. Monson, the president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. I would serve him my mom’s homemade chicken divan.

• Also noted: Ralph sports a 3.99 grade-point average, plans on attending BYU (Utah) and aspires to get into medical school.

CASSIDY RICHMOND

Tahoma

• Grade: Freshman.

• Sport: Soccer.

• Accomplishment: Richmond tallied two goals and on assist on Oct. 2 in an 8-0 shutout of Kent-Meridian.

• Favorite class: English.

• Favorite movie: The Notebook.

• Most recent book read/author: “A Million Little Pieces” by James Frey.

• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite (actor) Chace Crawford and I would serve Asian food.

• Also noted: Richmond also excels in track and basketball.

PHIL LUSSIER

Tahoma

• Grade: Senior.

• Sport: Cross country.

• Accomplishment: The Bears’ senior won his flight against other No. 3 runners in last Saturday’s prestigious Sunfair Invitational in Yakima, helping Tahoma finish second among the 55 teams. Lussier completed his three-mile run in 16 minutes, 30.6 seconds. Tahoma wound up with 39 points, just three behind team champion Gig Harbor.

• Favorite movie: The Sixth Sense.

• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite my dearest neighbor Quincy Harris and have grilled salmon wrapped in bacon with a side of grilled pineapple.

COURTNEY JOHNSON

Kentwood

• Grade: Sophomore.

• Sport: Soccer.

• Accomplishment: Johnson, along with teammate Megan Walburn, have been unbeatable in goal this season. The Kentwood tandem have combined for eight-straight shutouts, culminating with this past Tuesday’s 2-0 South Puget Sound League North Division blanking of Federal Way. Behind the strength of Johnson and Walburn, the Conquerors have outscored their opponents this season 30-1 in grabbing a perfect 9-0 record heading into this weekend.

• Also noted: Johnson also plays varsity basketball for the Conquerors and helped Kentwood earn a state berth in that sport last winter.

MEGAN WALBURN

Kentwood

• Grade: Junior.

• Sport: Soccer.

• Accomplishment: Walburn has been the other half of Kentwood’s dominating goalkeeping duo, pairing with teammate Courtney Johnson in helping the Conquerors record eight straight shutouts. Kentwood hasn’t been scored upon since the season opener, a 4-1 win over Federal Way. In the process, Kentwood has taken a firm grip of the SPSL North’s top spot, entering the weekend at 9-0 with 27 points, well ahead of second-place Auburn Riverside (6-1-2, 20 points).
