Conks roll to dual meet victory

Kentwood dominated Hazen 54-14 in a North Puget Sound League Cascade Division dual wrestling match on Jan. 9.

The Conquerors improved to 3-0 in the division, 4-1 overall.

Kentwood participated in a Quad Meet Jan. 16 against the other three Kent School District schools — Kentridge, Kentlake and Kent-Meridian.

The meet was held after the Reporter’s press deadline.

The Conks will host the remaining three meets of the regular season including a matchup against the No. 2 Tahoma Bears.

The Bears come to town for a 7 p.m. meet Wednesday, Jan. 23.
