Bears win final regular season meet of season

The Tahoma Bears gymnastics team is 2-1 in league and overall this season.

The Bears final regular season meet came Jan. 30 with North Puget Sound League Quad Meet featuring Tahoma, Hazen, Kennedy Catholic and Mount Rainier.

The girls won with a team score of 157.

Kennedy Catholic came in second with 147, Mount Rainier third with 142 and Hazen finished fourth with a team score of 137.

The NPSL and the South Puget Sound League meets were scheduled for Feb. 9. Due to weather conditions, the meet was canceled. The teams will compete at districts this coming weekend, weather permitting.
