Ruphane (Connie) Leider died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011 after an extended illness. She was born in Snohomish, Wash., May 5, 1919 to Curtis and Nellie (Butler) Conard and grew up in Hobart, Wash. She graduated from Issaquah High School.

She met James Leider at a dance (the Avalon) in Seattle and they were married March 14, 1941. They had three boys – Michael, Steven and Gary.

She was preceded in death by her husband. James Leider, her parents Curtis and Nellie Conard, her brothers Dave, George and Joe Conard and her sister Nell (Conard) Peters.

She is survived by five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A memorial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 at Covington Community Church.
