Woman cited for possession of crack cocaine pipes and DUI | Black Diamond Police Blotter

CRACK COCAINE: 3rd Avenue. A vehicle was seen traveling with a broken taillight. The vehicle's speed was fluctuating between 30–40 mph in a 25 mph zone. When the officer stopped the 48-year-old female, it was determined she was under the influence of narcotics. Several crack cocaine pipes were located, along with other miscellaneous paraphernalia. She was transported to a local hospital for a drug evaluation. She was admitted to the hospital due to complaining of severe pain. She was cited for driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, no motor vehicle insurance and defective taillights.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: 30200 block of 234th Avenue Southeast. Between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. someone placed a bent nail in the chain of a gate causing $450 worth of damage to the gear box.

RECKLESS DRIVING: Roberts Drive. An officer witnessed a vehicle speeding that came extremely close to a cyclist. At the same time, the cyclist contacted the officer and stated the vehicle had just passed their location and attempted to run the cyclist off the road twice, along with also stopping two times by slamming on his brakes, skidding and getting out of his car yelling profanities at the cyclist. The driver was stopped and became very agitated. The driver did not have a valid license or insurance. He was cited for reckless driving, speeding, no insurance and driving with a suspended license. The man’s vehicle was impounded.
