Suspended license reveals marijuana in driver’s pocket | Black Diamond Police Blotter

A routine check showed the registered owner of the vehicle was driving with a suspended license. After making contact with the driver, the officer determined the man had no vehicle insurance. Upon placing the driver in custody, a search revealed marijuana in his pocket. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was cited with driving while license suspended, no vehicle insurance and possession of marijuana. The driver was cited and released.

April 10

MARIJUANA: S.E. 300th Street. A routine check showed the registered owner of the vehicle was driving with a suspended license. After making contact with the driver, the officer determined the man had no vehicle insurance. Upon placing the driver in custody, a search revealed marijuana in his pocket. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was cited with driving while license suspended, no vehicle insurance and possession of marijuana. The driver was cited and released.

April 8

BURGLARY: 32200 block of 3rd Avenue. A burglary was reported to a travel trailer sometime between the April 7-8. Entry was made by prying the latch and miscellaneous items were missing. The scene was processed for evidence and fingerprints.

April 5

STOLEN ITEMS: 32800 block of Hyde Avenue. An officer responded to a report two vehicles were entered during the night. Both vehicle doors were left open and miscellaneous items were stolen.

April 3

ALARM: 32600 block of Railroad Avenue. Officers were dispatched to a business for report of an audible commercial alarm. Upon arrival, officers found an open window leading to an office with evidence that someone could still be inside. Officers requested K9 to respond to search the interior of the building. The building was searched and no suspects were found inside the building. The scene was processed for evidence and fingerprints.

THEFT: 32500 block of Highland Drive. A resident reported sometime during the night their unlocked vehicle was entered and items were stolen. There was also another report of an unlocked vehicle being entered in the 32600 block of Highland Drive. The vehicle was entered, but nothing was taken.
