Student caught with marijuana hidden in deodorant container | Covington-Maple Valley Police Blotter

POSSESSION: 25800 block of 164th Avenue Southeast. A Kentwood High student was caught with marijuana. It was hidden in a deodorant container in the boy’s backpack.

COVINGTON

March 21

  • POSSESSION: 25800 block of 164th Avenue Southeast. A Kentwood High student was caught with marijuana. It was hidden in a deodorant container in the boy’s backpack.
  • ANGRY ROOMMATE: 26800 block of 171st Place Southeast. Two women who share an apartment got into a physical altercation.

March 14

  • CAR PROWL: 25400 block of 155th Avenue Southeast. The victim’s work-issued vehicle was broken into overnight while it was parked in the person’s driveway. The thief jimmied the lock to get the driver’s side door open then stole a GPS unit and other items from the vehicle.
  • GRAFFITI: 19400 block of Southeast 255th Street. Someone spray painted two different words using blue paint onto to different fences. Police have no suspects at this time.

 

MAPLE VALLEY

March 22

  • CAUGHT: 27400 block of 254th Court Southeast. A neighbor heard breaking glass after two males were seen getting out of a car the reporting party didn’t recognize. When officers arrived on the scene the suspects were gone but they discovered the laundry room window had been broken out. The suspects were found about two hours later after being tracked by K-9 units. One of the suspects is an 18 year old student at Tahoma High, the other was described as 19 years old.

March 19

VANDALISM: 21500 block of Southeast 280th Street. A trio of juvenile males were caught vandalizing playground equipment in a neighborhood park. The boys cleaned up the graffiti.
