Maple Valley police to host crime prevention summit

Maple Valley Police officers are hosting a Community Crime Prevention Summit at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Tahoma Junior High. A need for this kind of prevention summit came out of a recent increase in residential and commercial burglaries in and around Maple Valley, according to information provided by the police department. Officers will discuss recent crime trends as well as crime prevention tips and address security related concerns.
