COVINGTON Oct. 22 NOT YOUR TABS: 26800 block of 172 Place Southeast. After stealing tabs off one car at this location more than a month ago the suspect attempted to steal tabs from another vehicle.

NOT YOUR TABS: 26800 block of 172 Place Southeast. After stealing tabs off one car at this location more than a month ago the suspect attempted to steal tabs from another vehicle.

BURGLARY: 19800 block of Southeast 267th Place. After entering a home through an open living room window the thieves stole firearms from the residence.

DRUGS AND THEFT: 24100 block of 180th Avenue Southeat. After getting caught attempting to burglarize a home, one of the suspects was found in possession of meth.

KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS: 16700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. Suspects were seen digging through trash cans outside of Fred Meyer, Walmart and Home Depot, then heading into the store to grab items on the receipts to return them in a scam for cash.

Oct. 21

THAT’S A LOT OF POT: 18900 block of Timberlane Way. A suspicious driver had was pulled over and the officer discovered the driver “numerous one by one baggies of marijuana” on him.

BROKEN WINDOWS: 19400 block of Southeast 266th Street. Windows in a woman’s home were shattered. She observed that the holes in the windows appeared to have been caused by BB gun pellets. She mentioned that she saw subjects wearing masks who ran into the alley behind her house.

FAKE RETURN: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. A man named Kyle attempted to return an item with a used receipt to get a cash refund.

Oct. 19

CHECK FRAUD: 27500 block of Covington Way. While shopping at Costco a woman inadvertently let her checkbook on a display table. She later discovered someone found the checkbook and wrote three fraudulent checks.

Oct. 24

BAD DRIVER: Southeast 260th Place and 220th Place Southeast. Someone driving a white Ford pick up drove into a street sign in the Cherokee Bay neighborhood.

DESPERATE FOR TV: Someone broke into a travel trailer parked in a fully fenced and secured lot at 4 Corners storage to steal a television set from the trailer.

Oct. 23

VANDALISM: 24200 block of 231st Place Southeast. Graffiti painted on the homeowner’s association sign of the Valley Green III development.

Oct. 19

THEFT: 23100 block of 224 Place. Someone forced entry into a business office by breaking out an exterior window. The thief then reached into the office and stole a laptop computer.
