TRIPLE WHAMMY: 19000 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A driver involved in a two vehicle collision was found to be quite intoxicated by officers investigating the crash as well as driving with a suspended license and behind the wheel of an allegedly stolen car.

THEFT: 19800 block of Southeast 265th Street. Someone entered a man’s garage through an unlocked door while the man was home and stole items.

TRIPLE WHAMMY: 19000 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A driver involved in a two vehicle collision was found to be quite intoxicated by officers investigating the crash as well as driving with a suspended license and behind the wheel of an allegedly stolen car.

DESPERATELY SEEKING CHARGER: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. A shoplifter stole a cell phone charger from the electronics department at Walmart then pushed as well as tried to punch the store’s loss prevention employees while trying to get away.

TOOLS STOLEN: 18200 block of Southeast 240th Street. Someone broke into the Covington Aquatic Center through the rear utility door and stole a pressure washer and air compressor.

FREE LONG DISTANCE: 16700 block of Southeast 271st Street. Someone hacked into the city of Covington’s phone system and made a number of international calls.

MACGYVERED SHOWER: 16700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A transient was found showering in a garbage can storage area behind the Union 76 gas station and was trespassed from the property.

MAPLE VALLEY

Jan. 1

TOP OF THE TOWER: Southeast 208th Street and 108th Avenue Southeast. After using bolt cutters to get through a fence at the Covington Water District someone gained access to the top of the water tower but did not damage it.

NICE RING TO IT: 19400 block of 115th Place Southeast. A customer at Seattle Sun Tan left a wedding ring sitting on the sink counter while tanning and when the patron returned to retrieve it, the ring was gone.

Dec. 30

BOXED UP: 23500 block of Southeast 267th Street. A woman hit her husband with a pizza box, causing an abrasion. She was booked into jail for fourth degree assault.

Dec. 29

CREDIT CARD FRAUD: 22300 block of Southeast 242nd Place. A number of fraudulent transactions were made on a woman’s bank account after she leased a credit card machine.
