Greater Maple Valley-Cedar River Community Service Area open house set for May 15

Public has opportunity to talk one-on-one with County leaders at Hobart meeting.

Residents of the Maple Valley-Cedar River unincorporated area can meet with King County officials, learn about small grant opportunities for their community, and be informed about current County work in their community at a May 15 open house in Hobart.

Featuring King County Councilmember Reagan Dunn, Senior King County Deputy Executive Fred Jarrett, and King County Sheriff John Urquhart, the open house is scheduled for 7-9 p.m. at the Hobart Church, 27524 SE 200th St., Hobart.

Sponsored by the King County Community Service Area program, the open house is an excellent opportunity for residents of unincorporated areas to learn more about King County’s work in their specific community and speak out about their own priorities.

Participants will have time to meet one-on-one with representatives of specific County departments and branches. Interpreter services are available by contacting Alan Painter, CSA Program Manager, 206 477-4521, alan.painter@kingcounty.gov.
