Wells an Advanced Placement Scholar

Tahoma High School student Aleisha Wells has earned the designation of AP Scholar through the college-level Advanced Placement program exams, the school announced.

Students qualify for the honor by completing three or more AP examinations with grades of 3 or higher.

Kindergarten roundup at Sawyer Woods

Sawyer Woods Elementary School’s kindergarten roundup is scheduled for May 16 from 9:15 to 10:50 a.m.

Parents can register their children for the roundup by calling the school at (253) 373-7750.

Children must be 5 years old by Aug. 31, 2008 in order to enter kindergarten next school year.
