Friends of Sutton's organized the event after those who attended her memorial were urged to find things they could do to honor her memory. Sutton was an active member of the Greater Maple Valley-Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce and business owner.

A cash mob is set for 5:45 p.m. Wednesday to honor the memory of Sandi Sutton through action by supporting local businesses in Maple Valley, a cause that was important to Sutton.

Friends of Sutton’s organized the event after those who attended her memorial were urged to find things they could do to honor her memory. Sutton was an active member of the Greater Maple Valley-Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce and business owner.

This cash mob, the first ever in Maple Valley, will start when participants gather at the Garden Center at the Fred Meyer in Maple Valley Town Center then move on to Sutton’s business with Leih Mulvihill, The Dazzled Dame, which is located in the same commercial plaza.

The evening will conclude with dinner at Farrelli’s Wood Fired Pizza.

According to one of the organizers, Megan Sheridan, more events intended to positively honor the memory of Sutton, who was a passionate supporter of the shop local movement, will happen in the coming weeks and months.
