June 20
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Southeast 267th Court and 161st Avenue Southeast. After being stopped for speeding, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to signal, the officer discovered the man behind the wheel of the car was driving with a suspended license and didn’t have car insurance.
June 16
OBSTRUCTION: 19600 block of Southeast 260th Street. During a traffic stop, the passenger in the car lied about his name, had marijuana in his possession and had two warrants out for his arrest.
NEED A FLAT SCREEN: 25900 block of 196th Avenue Southeast. Someone entered a home through an unlocked door during broad daylight and stole the home owner’s flat screen television.
June 15
THREATS: 19600 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A student at Cedar Heights Middle School threatened teachers in writing. The threat included a to do list as well as a six step method that included slashing a teacher’s tires, and burning down their house.
June 14
GRAFFITI: 19600 block of Southeast 259th Street. Someone spray painted gang-related graffiti all over the side of a single story home.
SHOPLIFTERS: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. Two juvenile girls were caught stealing make up, tampons and other items from Walmart.
MAPLE VALLEY
June 18
GET A ROOM: Southeast 248th Street and Witte Road Southeast. A couple found having sex shortly before 11 p.m. in a car parked at the Greater Maple Valley Community Center were trespassed from the property.
VANDALISM: 23800 block of Southeast 248th Place. Someone pelted a man’s car with eggs and when he initially looked it over, there didn’t appear to be any damage, however upon inspection in daylight he discovered his windshield was cracked as a result.
June 15
DROP THE CELL PHONE: Southeast 246th Street and Witte Road. A man was stopped for using his cell phone while driving. It was then discovered that his license was suspended and he did not have car insurance. His vehicle was impounded.
June 14
THEFT: 22700 block of Southeast 273rd Street. A woman suspects her house keeper has been stealing her jewelry as it has been disappearing on a regular basis over the course of the past few months.
