Covington Community Church will host a free breakfast at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow.

All are welcome to share fellowship and food and to hear pastor Michael Titus give a brief message on the Christian faith, a church spokesman said.

Alliance Bible hosts fibromyalgia group

A faith-based support group for sufferers of fibromyalgia meets once a month at Alliance Bible Church.

The meetings are from 6:55 to -8:30 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of the month. A spokesman said the group offers a positive atmosphere. Additional information is available at (425) 432-2546 or (425)360-0597.

Fibromyalgia is an illness that causes chronic pain in muscles and ligaments. The ailment affects about 4 million Americans, the vast majority of them being women in their mid-30s to late-50s.

In addition to muscular pain and stiffness, fibromyalgia can also cause fatigue, sleep problems, depression and an inability to think clearly, according to experts.
