Black Diamond City Council to hold public hearing on possible water rate increases

No increases are proposed for the stormwater or sewer funds, but a 15 percent increase in water utility fund rate is anticipated.

The Black Diamond City Council will hold a public hearing during it’s regular City Council meeting on June 20 to discusses possible water rate increases.

This spring the Council authorized a rate study for the water, sewer and stormwater funds.

No increases are proposed for the stormwater or sewer funds, but a 15 percent increase in water utility fund rate is anticipated.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Black Diamond City Council Chambers located at 25510 Lawson Street in Black Diamond.

Written comments may be submitted to the City Clerk’s office no later than 5 p.m. on June 20 or submitted at the meeting.
