Baskets filled with goodies at the Covington egg hunt

Children scrambled for eggs and candy Saturday at the Covington Community egg hunt.

The fun started at about 10 a.m. at the MutliCare Clinic. It was over in a few minutes once the go sign was given. Children between the ages of 1 and 12 filled their baskets with plastic eggs loaded with candy.

Alexa Curtis helped her sister, Danika, who at 2 years old, was not quick enough to grab as much as her older sister.

By the end, all the children had something in their baskets and it was time for the eating to begin.

The event was sponsored by the Covington Lions Club and MultiCare.
