True Love and Other Diasters | Book Review

True love and other disasters by Rachel Gibson

You can marry a rich man, as easy as marrying a poor man. And so Faith believes when she marries a very rich, very old man. Faith becomes a perfect wife, never cheating, being a true helpmate, totally dedicated to her husband. When he dies, Faith is left with lots of money and a pro hockey team. A pro hockey team? Faith doesn’t watch hockey or any sport with sweaty, dirty people.

Ty Savage is this years’ hockey boy wonder. He’s brash, outspoken and believes only in one-night stands, and the Stanley Cup. All Ty wants from his new ditzy, bimbo of an owner is for her to leave the team alone so they can win the Stanley Cup.

When Faith finally makes her way to the locker room to meet her team, she is shocked by the attraction she feels for Ty. Ty feels the sparks as well, but he is fighting it for all he’s worth. Falling in lust… Oh yeah. Falling in love, not gonna happen. A chance encounter brings the two together (in Ty’s bed) and it’s nothing but sparks, romance and hilarity through the rest of the book.

Like all romance books, this one ends on a happy note.

Enjoy a great read by Rachel Gibson in any of her previous novels. All can be found in your local King County Library System library, or sent to the KCLS library of your choice.
