Faith-based support for sufferers of fibromyalgia

A fibromyalgia support group meets once a month at Alliance Bible Church in Covington.

A spokesman for the group said it offers a faith-based, positive atmosphere when it meets from 6:55 to 8:30 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of the month.

Christian kindergarten and preschool taking fall registrations

Sonship Christian Kindergarten/Preschool has opened registration for fall 2008.

The school offers full-day academic kindergarten, junior kindergarten, preschool and daycare. Additional information is available at (425) 432-1980.

Sonship is at 24905 Witte Road SE., the same location as Maple Valley Church of the Nazarene.

Church sponsor of maple leaf contest

Real Life Church will sponsor the maple leaf contest for children as part of Maple Valley Days next month.

Kids in kindergarten through eighth grade can compete for prizes for the largest leaf June 14-15 at Lake Wilderness Lodge. The grand prize will be a go-kart. The winner will be announced at 4:15 p.m. June 15.

The church also will provide an inflatable slide and other attractions for children during the community festival.
