I am part of Team Perseverance and this year will be our third year participating in the Breast Cancer three-day walk.

Our journey will begin September 11 and will end September 13. We are doing several different fundraising events this year to help our team raise the funds to be able to participate in the three-day adventure. Our team takes pride in our fundraisers and wants to include the community in various ways.

Saturday we will be holding a fundraiser from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. at 27245 172nd Ave S.E. Covington. This event is to get our community together and promote healthy living.

At the same time, also help us raise money to CURE and PREVENT breast cancer in our future. We will be having an exciting day including vendors, raffles, food, etc. Team Perseverance would like to show our thanks for your generosity by,

• sharing your business with our families, friends and local communities;

• provide list of the various businesses that supported us at our events and on our Web site and

• help to promote and advertise your business

This is a non-profit event and all the proceeds will go directly towards the Susan G. Komen foundation.
