Regarding Kevin Patterson’s opinion article (published May 8), I am disappointed by the lack of transparency demonstrated by this paper. The article did not disclose the Kevin Patterson is the Tahoma School District’s director of communications. Since his job is to be the voice of the district, one has to question why the editorial staff would publish an article without mentioning this important fact.
