BECU celebrated the grand opening of a new Neighborhood Financial Center (NFC) today in Maple Valley.

The NFC is located at 26710 Maple Valley Black Diamond Rd. SE in the Maple Valley Town Square at Four Corners off of Highway 169.

The new 2,000-square foot location has five consultant desks and two Online Banking Kiosks, three ATMs with 24-hour access to better serve members.

In addition, members can make an appointment with an investment advisor to review their current retirement accounts as well as discuss long term goals.

Members can use the location to establish accounts, apply for loans and perform financial transactions — including free ATM, online and telephone banking services, with staff assistance, if needed.

As with BECU’s other Neighborhood Financial Centers, the new Maple Valley location will be staffed Monday thru Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, BECU is a not-for-profit credit union owned by the members. Profits are returned to the members in the form of better rates and fewer fees.

With more than 780,000 members and more than $10.6 billion in assets, BECU is the largest credit union in Washington and one of the top five financial cooperatives in the country. BECU currently operates over 40 locations in the Puget Sound region.

All Washington state residents are eligible to join.
