Monday, January 25

Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m.

–Councilmembers will hear public testimony during their monthly public comment period. Speakers will have two minutes to address the Council on matters relating to county government.

Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

  • Motions confirming the appointments of the members of the King County Children and Youth Advisory Board (Motions 2016-0050 through 2016-0084)

 

King County Flood Control District Executive Committee – 3:30 p.m. ***Special Meeting Location*** The Committee will meet in the Southwest Conf. Rm., 12th Flr. King County Courthouse

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full Board of Supervisors:

  • A resolution relating to the operations and finances of the King County Flood Control Zone District; adopting a revised 2015 budget and a revised annual District oversight budget; and amending Resolution FCD 2014-14.3 and FCD2015-07.
  • A resolution authorizing the chair to enter into an amendment to the Agreement for Government Relations Services.
  • A resolution of the King County Flood Control Zone District Adopting Agency SEPA Procedures.
  • A resolution authorizing the Director of Water and Land Resources to submit the Interim SWIF to the United States Army Corps of Engineers for acceptance and authorizing the District to initiate a Corridor Plan for the Lower Green River.

Tuesday, January 26

Government Accountability and Oversight Committee – 9:30 a.m.

Briefing:

  • King County Auditor’s Work Program (Briefing No. 2016-B0014).

Law and Justice Committee – 1:30 p.m.

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

  • A motion appointing members to the King County E‑911 strategic plan scoping committee (Motion 2016-0042).

Wednesday, January 27

Budget and Fiscal Management Committee – 9:30 a.m.

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

  • An ordinance relating to the environmental health fund (Ordinance 2015-0450).
